AladdinStreet SG partners with SG Silat Federation to host 18th World Pencak Silat Championship 2018

On the 4th of October, a press conference was held in Marina Bay Sands to announce the partnership between Singapore Silat Federation and Aladdin Street Singapore in organizing the 18th World Pencak Silat Championship 2018. This opportunity allows our Halal-Focused and Premium Quality E-marketplace to better engage with the Muslim community on both the domestic and global scale. As co-organizers, Aladdin Street Singapore will be supplementing various elements in organizing this World Championship with the network of merchants and partners to ensure the event goes beyond a successful one. This is in-line with the overall mission of the company, which is to empower SMEs and connecting business opportunities such as this one. The synergy between the two companies without a doubt will ensure a world-class experience for all the parties involved.

The press conference had also showcase some of the current participating Companies and Brands who will be supporting the Championship.

The press conference was a huge success with engaging activities as well as performances from the Singapore Silat Federation as well as Arthur Choo from Beat'aBox. The excitement during the day is one that is going to keep on all the way till the Championship.


The Championship is to be held on the 10th to the 17th of December 2018. SportSG CEO Lim Teck Yin added: "The notice to host the championship came quite late, but I am glad Sheik has gathered strong partners. But the message is not just about having strong partners to support financially, it's also about having strong partners to bring their networks to enable the world championship to be more than just a sports championship." The Team remains optimistic and highly enthusiastic for the upcoming Championship.
